The future of social impact in higher education is here.
The Impact Marketing and Fundraising Fellowship (IMFF) will work with talented University of Illinois students at the intersection of marketing, social impact and nonprofit fundraising over the summer. Students will be paired with a mentor and another peer to provide 10 black-led nonprofits in the Chicagoland area with pro bono marketing and fundraising support.
Week 1 (In-Person Training): Fellows will spend two days in Chicago meeting their cohort, learning digital marketing and fundraising skills and practicing what it takes to be successful in a client-facing role. The remainder of the week will be virtual.
Week 2 (Virtual Training): Fellows will continue training, meet their mentor and host an introductory meeting with the nonprofit they will be paired with.
Weeks 3-10 (Virtual Project): Fellows will conduct a research assessment, enhance their client’s digital marketing presence and execute a fundraising campaign to support the nonprofit’s mission.
